Those that read this silly blog of mine, may or may not know about Ryan. Ryan is wonderful. I spend my weekends up in San Ramon (which is beautiful) with him. We either meet up with his friends or drive down to San Jose to go to museums. This weekend we headed off to San Jose to spend the day with Daniel, David, and Nikki at The Rosecucian Egyptian Museum in San Jose. I was excited to go since I hadn't been since elementary school and don't remember much....now I know why I don't remember much! I am not into ancient art. I have always know I enjoy the impressionists, but how this is confirmed!
As I was walking throught the galleries, I couldn't help but wish I had a small knitting project in hand....sock where were you in my time of need??? What did I learn this weekend? I am going to start using my Jordana Paige Knitting Satchel again. I am sure it will come in handy as we start to do more driving - and he doesn't mind that I knit when he drives....now I need to increase my skills to watching a movie and knitting in the dark! Any suggestions on an easy pattern to start with?
Update on knitting projects:
1 - Bliss blanket: this is coming out quite lovely. I enjoy this yarn A LOT. It is super soft and is machine washable. Gotta love that fact!
2 - Sweet dreams socks - I have frogged this out, and then actually washed a part of it so I could try a gauge swatch. It has been washed and dried last night. I will work on the gauge issue tonight.
3 - I still have quite a few items to get on the needles for gifts.....the main one is fingerless gloves for my Dad. I have the yarn...just need to wind it up and get those size 6 circulars for Glen.
